Day 11 & 12
Siena and Tuscany
Leaving the Cinque Terre behind (though not any tour members, despite threats to the contrary), the group headed to Tuscany and the town of Siena, passing on the way through San Gimignano with its many medieval towers. In Siena we were treated to a stained glass workshop, a walking tour of the city, and a Tuscan dinner at one of the clubhouses of the city's 17 competing neighborhoods, or contrade.
