Day 15 & 16
Orvieto and Umbria
Our trip from Siena to Orvieto in Umbria detoured to Assisi, to visit the birthplace of St. Francis, and ended at a lovely wine resort with views of the Umbrian countryside. A day trip to the hill town of Orvieto had art appreciation in the cathedral followed by a walk around town, a visit to the Etruscan museum, and a tour of the underground tunnel system.

With views like the one from our resort (right), it's no wonder the group didn't want to leave!
